COUNTER PROTEST "WALK FOR LIFE" 1/21 ANNIVERSERY OF ROE VS WADE
Anita O'Shea of BAYCORR discusses fights against attacks on womens' right to abortion, a comprehensive reproductive health care rights agenda, and organizing efforsts to confront the 2nd annual "Walk For Life" demonstration. (22 minutes)
Listen now:
The anti-abortion "Walk For Life" expects a crowd at least as large as last year's 4-5,000 for their second annual anti-abortion protest in San Francisco. One of "Walk For Life's" stated goals is to reverse the Democratic Party's position on abortion. They espouse an anti-women, anti-gay agenda. They are overwhelmingly Bush supporters while claiming to be peaceful and the "real" civil rights activists. A "feminism" in which womens' rights can only be achieved if abortion is outlawed is proposed on the web site womendeservebetter.org.
Counterprotesters matched their numbers last year. The Bay Area Coalition For Our Reproductive Rights is organizing locally to meet or exceed that number this year. Read more on indybay's womyn's page. The counter demonstration begins at 11AM, Saturday, January 21 at The Embarcardero, on the anniversery of Roe vs. Wade.
Hear BAYCORR activist Anita O'Shea interviewed by DJ Rubble. The counter demonstration meets at 11AM, Saturday, January 21, the anniversery of Roe vs. Wade. I believe this is the fourth anti-abortion protest to visit San Francisco in the past year.

In this interview you said, "Thank God.... or whoever. Now what is that supposed to mean. If you don't beleive in God do you believe that you have a soul? Now if you do believe in God and that you have a soul then when do you believe that you get your soul? If you don't believe that you have a soul then don't bother responding.
I've just wondered what you people believe on the matter of souls.
Viva Cristo Rey!
