Aristide and the Endless Revolution is an internationally acclaimed documentary that explores the events that let to the overthrow of Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the democratically elected president of Haiti. Filmmaker Nicolas Rosseir, producer of Brothers and Others, takes the viewer on a journey into the realities on the streets of Haiti. A picture emerges of a young democracy being constantly tested and ultimately destroyed.
As well as Aristide himself, the film features renowned physician and anthropologist Paul Farmer, actor and UN goodwill ambassador Danny Glover, political commentator Noam Chomsky, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, peacemaking expert James Dobbins, former Assistant Secretary of State John Shattuck, and many Haitian voices.
