An apology to the editors of this site
As you may have noticed, I've been commenting here a great deal lately. While my intentions were to assist in turning down the heat in the comments area, I'm also concerned that if I continue, I'm going to become part of the information clog on this part of the site. As such, I'm bowing out, and please accept my apologies if my attempts have made your work more difficult, rather than less. As I said on another thread, throw cold water on me if I step in again.
To the editors:
As you may have noticed, I've been commenting here a great deal lately. While my intentions were to assist in turning down the heat in the comments area, I'm also concerned that if I continue, I'm going to become part of the information clog on this part of the site. That being said, something more needs to be done about the amount of trolling (including trolling by members of other IMCs) on this site. Maybe I'm making too big a deal of this, but at least in my view, it seriously detracts from the work you're doing, and makes the site read more like Usenet than what it's intentions are. Unfortunately, I don't know what the solution to this is -- I proposed a commenter-driven flagging system but for some reason, the people who are some of the biggest trolls on this site didn't seem to want that. Of course, people can always ignore the comments, but that doesn't seem very realistic -- the comments are part of the content, and believe it or not, there is useful information in them sometimes that enhances the story. Note to the people that seem to live here, spam here, troll here month after month: I said *sometimes.* Rest assured that I'm not talking about you when I say this.
In any case, thanks again for doing one of the more thankless jobs in radical alternative media. Y'all rock.
Over and out,
no heroes save ourselves

Sounds good to me. Good luck with it, hope it achieves what you're looking for.
just pace yourself more
you don't have to refute or temper every discussion you are compelled to
sometimes just take a breather and come back later
I've enjoyed your thoughtful comments and hope for more, if not as many
just pace yourself more <

thanks again for your suggestions...sometimes it's just a matter of taking a breath...
