Stanley Tookie Williams has been sentenced by the state to die on December 13th at San Quentin. Come see the film "Redemtion" about his life that took him from the Crips street gang to being nominated serveral times for the Nobel Peace Prize.
He has changed and saved lives, and is a living example of the power and potential of t'shuvah, the notion that all of us are capable of turning away from wrongdoing and toward doing good. There will be speakers and a vegan dinner afterwards. For more information on Tookie Williams visit: http://www.tookie.com/protocol/index.html
