Our money is no longer any of our business..

Has anyone here noticed that the Fed is no longer going to publish M3
data?? What this means is that fed watchers and market analysts will
no longer be able to track just how much money is being created
electronically by the fed to manipulate the equity markets via
the "plunge protection team."

This is ominous as heck to put it lightly. Now the money supply is
to be secret and its now none of our business how much and how fast
the fed inflates our money and its also going to be impossible to
track where and how much the market is being manipulated. Its all
secret now...

This just underscores how vital it is that we immediately remonetize
on a local level. The fed is preparing for something drastic; wether
it be war, pandemic, market collapse or something as mundane as
Greenspan going out on a stock market record high or the faithful
Bushite contributors stocks getting pumped we are left to speculate,
and in the absense of real data, now we the people are going to be
left completely in the dark; and ITS OUR MONEY!!

Revolt in Congress Against PATRIOT "Compromise"

Late Friday, there was word that Senators and Representatives
began heading home for the two-week holiday recess without
voting on the PATRIOT renewal. The Washington Post reports
that some lawmakers believe a bill will be passed before the
end of the year, but others were not so sure. The PATRIOT
Act expires on December 31.

Earlier this week, when the legislative conference tasked
with reconciling the House and Senate versions of the PATRIOT
renewal bill started circulating drafts of its so-called
"compromise," a vote seemed certain by the end of the week.
But the civil liberties community recognized the conference
report for what it was: the same old PATRIOT with illusory
reforms.

Luckily, several dedicated and patriotic Senators and
Representatives--yes, Virginia, they do exist!--recognized it
too. Now, it seems the stage is set for a public debate on
PATRIOT and civil liberties. Stay tuned.

Check EFF's DeepLinks for updates:

British Thought Police
It is well noted that many are wrongly imprisoned for daring to question the validity of the Hollocast. Just as with many other truths we later discover, the truth behind the holocaust may very well be the ultimate Pandora's Box. Not that one death was not too many, nor that any amount of torture is acceptable. But to continue to use those deaths, and repeatedly lie on the true figures of those deaths for a profit, or lie about how they really occurred, does matter.

When Israel continues to reap billions each year on the coattails of the deaths of the holocaust, it would appear appropriate to investigate and validate the claims.

Repeatedly we see the opposite is true when we research historical events. Those who have done serious research on the halocaust are often imprisoned and held without rights for years if they dared to go public with their findings.

Ernst Zundel Prisoner of Conscience Victim of Thought Crime

http://www.rense.com/Datapages/zunddata.htm

We need to think about this...."If the stories are true and can be validated, then no other research could threaten it." But if they are not true and there is a huge threat to the billions collected on the lies then the only way to attack that threat is to prevent the freedom of speech we need for such research to reach the public and make it a crime to investigate historical events. That is what we continue to see. It only gives validation to the revelations of those who are imprisoned and none to those who are trying to oppress the information.

In comes the thought police.... Few are stopping to think that what we say is acceptable for the treatment of one man because we do not agree with him, does not mean we are exempt from those same rights infringing actions when the cause and the "truth" is "ours."  Will we face prison years from now if we dare to tell our grandchildren the truth of the OK bombing, 9/11, Iraq, Katrina, GMO foods, vaccines, etc? The thought police are working on that.

The brainwashing continues each day that Bush redefines who the "terrorists" are. The anti-semantic bills have not passed here....yet. But they have extended a LOT of effort to implement them here in the US with repeated bills introduced. Like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum- Bush and Blair work in sync with their respective countries to implement what they plan to go global with.

To believe or not believe in the accounts of the holocaust should not been seen as an imprisonable offence. They should be deemed as nessasary for historical validation. Because the false history of vaccines alone has already shown us that the lies will be repeated for centuries when they refuse to show the true history and many more will suffer if they do not know the truth. It is when we stop asking for proof and verification that we will fall for anything.

Below is yet another who face imprisonment for daring to oppose the official version of the hollocaust.

God Bless Pamela

Historian Charged With Denying Holocaust

VIENNA, Austria - British historian David Irving was arrested last week in southern Austria on a warrant accusing him of denying the Holocaust, the Interior Ministry said Thursday. # Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz Blood On the Border: A Memoir of the Contra War
tue Nov 22 7:30 pm Modern Times Bookstore 888 Valencia St (b/t 20th and 21st)
With Blood on the Border, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz presents the third volume in her critically-acclaimed memoir. She vividly recounts memories of the contra war in Nicaragua, chronicling the US-sponsored terror inflicted on the people of Nicaragua following the election of the Sandinistas that ousted the Reagan darling and vicious dictator Somoza. Her rich political analysis of this history bears the mark of a trained historian, but she also writes from her perspective as an intrepid activist who spent time throughout the 1980s in the war-torn country. She makes painfully clear the connections between what many US Americans only remember vaguely as the Iran-Contra "affair" and current US aggression in the Americas, the Middle East, and around the world.

Roxanne will read from her new book and answer questions following a discussion afterward.

Fri Nov 25 Buy Nothing Day! http://adbusters.org

# Buy Nothing Day -- help with sheep herding Hey all,

I'm trying to put together the sheep herd to flock through Union Square on Buy Nothing Day (the day after Thanksgiving -- see http://www.adbusters.org/metas/eco/bnd/ for more info).

I'll need someone to split the labor and cost of a bunch of sheep masks, mainstream retailer shopping bags, fake money, etc., to make the sheep a reality this year.

Someone out there wanna help make this happen? Folks out there NEED to experience the SHEEP this year!!!

# how much is that nothing in the window?
The latest from the front:

It's that time of the year again: BUY NOTHING DAY

In less than a month, millions of people around the world will ask for
the ultimate refund -- by opting out of consumer culture. For 24 hours on
Buy Nothing Day, November 25, we remember that no one was born to shop,
we pause, make a small choice to participate by not participating, and
we regain some calm. What will you do to tell Nike, McDonald's, Walmart
and the rest that enough is enough? Why not run with some ideas dreamt
up by the more than 3,500 jammers who took part in last year's biggest
ever Buy Nothing Day? Set up credit card cut ups, don white coats and
vaccinate against affluenza, give out free samples of nothing - anything
to show that the best things in life are free. You can find more ideas
and tools in the Action Pyramid at:

The catalyst for change: TRUE COST ECONOMICS

Before economics can progress it must abandon its suicidal formalism.
- Robert Heilbroner
The neoclassical economics paradigm is ripe for the picking and we're
due for an entirely new way of measuring progress. This mindshift could
be pulled off by a small number of economics students in a few prominent
universities around the world triggering visceral debates within their
departments. And to help catalyze this process, we've come up with an
exciting experiment -- campus jammergroups -- that allows students to come
together and harmonize their efforts. Discussions have already begun at
hundreds of campuses. Now we just need to energize them. So encourage
any economics students you know to check out <http://www.truecosteconomics.org>,
find their local campus jammergroup and start organizing. Before you
know it, economics students everywhere will move from arguing with their
professors in class, to nailing manifestoes on their doors, to shaming
them at teach ins, and eventually grabbing them by the scruffs of their
necks and tossing them out of power.
http://www.truecosteconomics.org

Adbusters vs. Big Broadcasters: MEDIA CARTA

Here's the latest in our legal action to blast open the doors that
prevent grassroots access to the airwaves. We've taken the government
and Canada's biggest television broadcasters -- CTV, CanWest Global, CBC
and CHUM -- to court because they've denied us the right to buy airtime
for our advocacy TV messages. The defendants are ganging up to have the
case dismissed -- what are they afraid of? -- but we're not going away.
The airwaves belong to the public, and we want them back. By January,
their stall tactics should be exhausted and the broadcasting fraternity
will be back on the defensive. Look for updates and background and sign
up for the Media Carta at: http://www.mediacarta.org

# Buy Nothing Day Friday, November 25, 2005 - Saturday, November 26, 2005
10:00 AM Location: your conscience SF Bay Area
The Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov 25) is touted as Black Friday because its the official start of the Christmas shopping season.

FCUK THAT - instead, try International Buy Nothing Day as a protest against consumerism, waste, obligation, and the disgusting spectacle that is American Christmas & materialism.

Its simple — just don't buy anything. And think about how you personally might save more, spend less, and consider the bigger picture a bit more frequently. Every bit helps. Thanks.

# Join East Bay Animal Advocates for a Day of Advocacy on November 25!

On Friday, November 25, East Bay Animal Advocates will be leafleting outside of six Safeway (one of Foster Farms' major retailers) stores. Many shoppers will be heading to Safeway to make their holiday purchases. This is an excellent opportunity for advocacy.

The 4-1-1 on Foster Farms
As the largest poultry producer in the Western United States, Foster Farms emphasizes a commitment to advancing animal welfare and product quality. Despite its exceptional economic growth, Foster Farms fails to provide adequate care for its animals. Each week Foster Farms slaughters over five million chickens and turkeys for food. Documentation (available at
http://www.fosterfacts.net ) shows Foster Farms animals repeatedly denied proper care. Foster Farms needs to improve conditions for chickens & turkeys by establishing an animal welfare audit program.

# The Veil of Berta Wed Nov 30 7:00 pm
The film is FREE but $5 donations are accepted
THE VEIL OF BERTA Presented by Yael Martinez

This film delicately narrates the story of Berta Quintreman, an
elderly indigenous woman who, at the age of 88, led the last group
opposing the construction of the Ralco Project, a gigantic dam that
will stop the flow of the Bio Bio River and flood the land where her
native Mapuche Pewenche community has lived for centuries. A woman
with a strong personality and a unique blend of humor and energy,
Berta lives alone on her small pieces of land and observes all the
traditions of her people. On a daily basis she greets the trees and
the sun, drinks mate (a traditional herbal tea) with her dead, and
says her prayers. But at the same time we will see that she confronts
the authorities of Endesa (a Spanish transnational company) and the
Chilean government. She manages to halt the machinery and works
together with other families to prevent the flooding of their land.
The Mapuche people are the largest indigenous tribe of southern
Chile. After the ending of Pinochet's military dictatorship and under
increasing pressure from forestry companies, the Mapuche took up the
struggle in the 1990's to recover their territory. This film is
directed by Jeanette Paillán. Jeannette herself will attend the
showing to comment on her work and the situation of the Mapuche
people today. Jeannette's works have been screened internationally
since 1994. Her first documentary, Wallmapu, was awarded at the 2003
Human Rights Film Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Jeannette was
also festival coordinator of the 2004 CLACPI Festival of Indigenous
Film and Video in Santiago, Chile.

# "Stop Global Warming" Actions on December 3
Saturday, December 3, 2005 more on this date
Climate Crisis Coalition Organizing Nationwide

"Stop Global Warming" Actions on December 3

Climate Crisis, USA Join the World!
http://www.climatecrisis.us today announced that it is
organizing actions across the United States on and
around December 3 to demand that the U.S. government
support action that is commensurate with the urgency of
the deepening climate crisis.

"Scores of Stop Global Warming local actions will be
happening during the Nov. 28-Dec. 9 time period when
the huge, United Nations Climate Conference in Montreal
takes place," said Ted Glick, spokesperson for the
group. "We will be acting in concert with hundreds of
thousands of people in at least 28 countries around
the world who are making December 3rd an
International Day of Action to Stop Global Warming."

The Climate Crisis group is demanding that the U.S.
government join the world by ratifying the Kyoto
Protocol.

Climate Crisis also demands that the federal government
withdraw its annual $25 billion in subsidies for coal
and oil and create equivalent subsidies for clean,
safe, non-nuclear energy alternatives; that it
dramatically strengthen energy conservation and fuel
efficiency standards; that it plan for a just
transition for workers, Indigenous communities and
others affected by a change to clean energy; and that
it actively defend the world's forests and support
community-run tree planting campaigns.

States where local actions will be taking place
include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado,
Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois,
Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan,
Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and
Washington.

In D.C. on December 3, scores of hybrid vehicles
organized by the Chesapeake Climate Action Network will
circle the White House. In New Orleans the Alliance for
Affordable Energy will be holding a Stop Global Warming
event in the French Quarter. In Los Angeles on December
2, the Labor/Community Strategy Center will be doing an
action calling for an expansion of the city's bus fleet
to provide badly-needed public transportation which
will also cut down on car-producing greenhouse gases.
And in New York, also on December 2, a coalition of
groups will rally in Foley Square across from the
Federal Building calling for the federal government to
stop its obstructionist efforts and instead act to
address this urgent crisis.

In many localities, following the lead of organizers of
a massive march on December 3 in Montreal, participants
in the actions will try to hold their breath for 60
seconds. USA Join the World! coordinator Glick
explained that, 'Doing so reminds us all how important
clean air is to all living things. It reminds us of the
urgency of our work. It is a metaphor for what people
on some Pacific islands may soon have to do as the
oceans rise and their islands disappear and breathing
becomes impossible.'

# The Heydey of Natural History Thu Dec 8 7:30-9 pm Free.

Never has the status of science been held in higher esteem and the
public taken a bigger interest in natural history than during the
mid-19th century in America and Britain. This was a time of great
voyages of discovery, when fabulous fossil beasts were first
unearthed and put on public display. Most of today's renowned science
museums, including the California Academy of Sciences, were

# Panel Discussion: Int'l Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers
Dec 17 10AM-2PM $5 donation

Dec 17th, Third Annual International Day to End Violence Against Sex
Workers

International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers is meant to
call attention to hate crimes and violence against sex workers all
over the globe. Originally thought of by Dr. Annie Sprinkle and
started by the Sex Workers Outreach Project USA as a memorial and
vigil for the victims of the Green River Killer in Seattle
Washington, it has grown to be a day for strategizing to end these
acts as well as remember the victims. Over thirty cities around the
world have participated in this event.

This year Sex Workers Outreach Project is expanding events to cover
the entire week of December 17th so that we may diversify the forums
for discussion around violence against sex workers.

The Panel Discussion portion of these events on Dec. 17th from
10AM-2PM will focus on both identifying forms of violence against sex
workers, including structural violence and stigmatization, as well as
thinking of solutions. Panelists will include sex workers' rights
activists, sex workers, prison abolitionists, law enforcement, and more!

Our tentative schedule for this entire week is as follows:

Berkeley:
Thursday, December 15th: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
Memorial and Community Discussion
Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists
1924 Cedar x Bonita

Oakland:
Saturday, December 17th: 10 AM-2 PM
Ending Violence, Discrimination and Stigma Around Sex Work
YWCA,
1515 Webster St.
Panel discussion in the morning followed by lunch and afternoon
strategizing. $5 donation requested.

San Francisco:
Saturday December 17th : Dusk
Candlelight Vigil
Civic Center Plaza
Polk and Grove St In front of City Hall

Mark your calendars and keep your eyes peeled for more information
about these events!

What can YOU do to participate in the INTERNATIONAL DAY TO END
VIOLENCE AGAINST SEX WORKERS?

One of the ways to contribute to this event is to submit original
artwork and or written word to be displayed at the candle light vigil
in Civic Center at dusk on December 17th. Make yourself heard in the
fight against this violence. Please submit your personal response to
violence against sex workers, your vision of a better future for sex
workers, and your message to the victims and/or perpetrators of these
tragedies.

Wed Dec 21 DAY OF GENOCIDE: Pillgrims Landed 1620

# Unsilent Night Wed Dec 21 6:45 PM Free

----/ Event Description /-----------------------------------------------

"Unsilent Night," composer Phil Kline's free, all-volunteer outdoor
boombox holiday concert, returns to San Francisco for its third
annual performance on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at 6:45 PM.

A moving piece of ambient public art, Unsilent Night can be compared
to a holiday caroling party, except that participants don't sing.
Instead, each carries a boombox playing a separate cassette, CD, or
MP3 that becomes part of the piece. In effect, Kline and his co-
performers become single elements in a huge, mobile sound system.

Performed within the confines of the city streets, Unsilent Night
reverberates off the cars and buildings, resulting in a magnificent,
drifting cloud of shimmering, echoing sound. The 43-minute piece
includes chiming bells, choral voices, and various electronic
effects. (Kline cites Brian Eno and Charles Ives among his influences.)

Kline has performed Unsilent Night in Manhattan every year city since
1992. In San Francisco last year, some 500 people took part. This
year marks the first chance for iPod users to participate, as Kline
will make MP3 files of the piece available on his website.

Participants are invited to bring a boombox to Mission Dolores Park
at 18th and Dolores Streets, gathering at 6:45 PM. After Kline
distributes tapes and CDs among the players, the group will begin the
piece, strolling a mile-long, predetermined route though the Mission,
Noe, and Castro districts. The event will be held rain or shine.

Not only should we encourage the end of the preoccupation with buying unnecessary things, we should also encouarge the abolition of this ridiculous holiday, a month before the Big Winter Holiday aka Xmas, in the middle of the week, promoting a cheap entre, namely turkey. If people really have their hearts set on a November holiday, we should demand that T-day be moved to the 4th Monday of November and called Harvest Holiday or just November Holiday.

Meanwhile, I urge everyone to stop participating in all this nonsense. The sooner people refuse to participate, the sooner it will end as this all about maximizing profits and has nothing to do with any holiday.

I spend all holidays sleeping late and doing as little as possible. There is no Thanksgiving scene and of course no Xmas scene in my home, and thus I have sufficient peace to enjoy reading, music and sleep.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
