More pics of Friday's Powell Protest at DeAnza College
Here are some more pics of the Friday Nov.11th protest that took place in front of the Flint Center and all around it. Protests rotated around the building and towards the end, took place predominantly in the special parking area/access to the building and later the enterance to the De Anza College campus on Stevens Creek.

go back to the 60's you pacifist yer milling around achieves nothing!
i hear things got alot more escalated than the pictures have shown could whom ever took any GOOD pictures plz post them PLZ!
most of the photographers did a great job all three days of the protests, even though I watch the police push around a few photographers. 8 of the 6 men arrested, and the ones the police used the most force on, by far, are muslim even though the anarchists -all white- where the ones that were more of the "trouble makers". anyway, great pictures I hope to see more, hopefully of me!
i wish i brought my camera! the things going on there were so surreal, and there were alot of interesting people to talk to and listen to their point of view. alot of displays were put up that were really sad.
i was there from 730-1130 ish watching all the cops and stuff go on. it was pretty funny cuz the cops wouldnt let a group of guys back into the parking lot of the protest, so the guys used the cops as goals and played soccer with an invisible ball. a cop motorcycle was knocked over, and a car accident occured at the intersection of the highway and stevens creek. it was a pretty insane night.

"even though the anarchists -all white-" - This is not true, several of the people there who called themselves anarchists were people of color.
I had to laugh at the commentary followed by one picture up there about a bald cop being racist and others not being nice.
You can't possibly expect the pigs to be nice to you can you?
They don't want you there. They don't want to be there. And they certainly don't want to have to deal with us!
Those who are not prepared may as well do so when it comes to being an activist you are going to be treated like shit. You might be beaten, tear gassed, kicked, shoved and so on. If you are going to put yourself out there, then be prepared to get shit back. It's not going to get better either, since the FBI considers dissenters around the same vein as terrorists, or pro terrorists anyway.
To sum it up, they hate you.
Have a nice day, and kick some ass!
