Concentración y Marcha por los Derechos Reproductivos en San Francisco el 5 de Noviembre
BACORR se Opone a “Caminata por la vida” a realizarse en Enero 2006
Mientras se van acercando las elecciones en California, las encuestas muestran que la Proposición 73, la iniciativa anti-choice que va contra la salud de mujeres adolescentes (obligaria a las clinicas a notificar sobre la realizacion de un aborto a los padres de menores), sera decidida por corto margen.

La Bay Area Coalition for Our Reproductive Rights ( Coordinadora del Area de la Bahia por derechos reproductivos) marcharon por derechos reproductivos el Sábado 5 de Noviembre desde la 1pm hasta las 4:20pm en el parque Dolores en San Francisco (calles 18 y Dolores). El evento tuvo discursos, entretenimiento, espectáculos, mesas de información y arte. Lista de las personas que hablaron. La concentración y marcha fue seguida por la marcha Take Back the Night (marcha llamada Devuelvan la Noche) para conmemorar a las mujeres que han muerto por partos mal hechos, abortos ilegales y/o abuso domestico. El objetivo de esta concentración y marcha es en parte una forma de concientizar sobre los planes de una “Caminata por la Vida” de fundamentalistas contra el derecho a decidir que sera realizada en San Francisco en el aniversario de Roe v. Wade el 21 de Enero del 2006.
