African people face poverty, powerlessness, police brutality, massive imprisonment, inadequate education, healthcare and housing.
Speakers to include:
Diop Olugbala and Bakari Olatunji from the International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement, Penny Hess of the African People's Solidarity Committee, the Barrio Defense
Committee and others.
USM is organizing white people to support the African community's own solutions
for economic power, social justice and reparations.
Food provided, childcare provided, $5-20 donation requested, no one turned away
for lack of funds.
