Margo St. James, founder of the prostitutes rights organization, COYOTE (Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics), presents The 2005 Hooker's Ball at Pier 23 Cafe on Sunday, October 30, 2005. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. at a cost of $15 per person, to benefit the St. James Infirmary and Sex Workers Outreach Project - USA. The event will feature DJ Kev, a costume contest judged by Margo St. James, and lots of fun, games and surprises.

About the Beneficiaries:
The St. James Infirmary, founded by Margo St. James, but named for the soulful blues song, provides free, nonjudgmental medical and social services for women, men, and transgendered sex industry workers. It is the first occupational safety and health clinic for sex workers run by and for workers in the industry. The St. James Infirmary is located at 1372 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Sex Workers Outreach Project-USA (SWOP) focuses on improving the lives of sex industry workers by promoting safety, dignity and educational opportunities for sex workers in all thier diversity, and fosters an environment that affirms individual choice and occupational rights.
