The Price of Oil is a National Tour to remember the life and legacy of Ken Saro-Wiwa. November 10, 2005 marks the Tenth Anniversary of the executions of Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight colleagues – their only crime was organizing against the pollution and repression of Shell and the Nigerian military.
Featuring Ken Wiwa, Dr. Owens Wiwa, and other experts on the impact of oil, The Price of Oil will bring attention to the Niger Delta peoples’ struggle for justice, and the real “price of oil” we all pay. Includes spoken word, testimonies, music, art and photos to inspire!
