Photos of Sept 24 march and comments on signage
I noticed in the San Francisco demonstration that a lot of people were holding signs about exposing the lies surrounding 9/11, which is encouraging as it shows that people are beginning to question the official story and the rational for going to war and taking away our civil liberties. Unfortunately, I didn't see these kinds of signs when I was watching the DC demonstration later on CSPAN. Our Washington brothers and sisters should take up this issue. The imperialists war against the world would fall apart if we can turn over their ultimate trump card of 911 and see their shaky house of cards fall down.
Also, regarding the TV News van and vandalism. My friend and I had a argument about this. He thought it was pretty outrageous that someone would do such a violent act as he believed it would reflect on all of us in a negative way, expecially because yesterday was supposed to be a peace march.
After marching behind an extremely graphic sign of tortured and mutilated Iraqis, I wasn't feeling at all sympathic for the media that sold us on this war based on lies. They are acting as the mouthpiece for the pentagon and White House and completely ignoring the peace movement and the death and destruction in Iraq and Afganistan. (This morning I saw nothing on the corporate media about the demonstrations except for a scroll bar mention on CNN news about the Washington DC event, they mentioned 100,000 marchers in DC).
The recent news has been just a soggy, wet mess of Rita stories and not at all very interesting ones either, yet even this insipid news has managed to trump the message of a half a million people in DC and 200,000 in SF. The media has been shameful and our complicit in the violent deaths of tens of thousands. I don't feel a lot of sympathy for them losing a window.

What exactly does that woman believe she is advocating with her pro-Zionist signage?
"A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm"
"Wurmser, Feith and Perle were co-authors of a 1996 policy paper for then-Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu titled "A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm." It called for removing Hussein from power in Iraq as part of a broad strategy to transform the region and remove radical regimes."

"While there are those who will counsel continuity, Israel has the opportunity to make a clean break; it can forge a peace process and strategy based on an entirely new intellectual foundation, one that restores strategic initiative and provides the nation the room to engage every possible energy on rebuilding Zionism .."

Feith and Israel
Feith cannot be described by just one label. He is a longtime militarist, a neo-conservative, and a right-wing Zionist. According to Bob Woodward's book Plan of Attack, Feith was described by the military commander who led the Iraq invasion, General Tommie Franks, as "the f---ing stupidest guy on the face of the Earth", referring to the bad intelligence fed to the military about Iraq and the extent of possible resistance to a US invasion.
Feith also has a reputation as a prolific writer, having published articles on international law and on foreign and defense policy in the New York Times, the Washington Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Commentary, and The New Republic.
His militarism - and close ties with the military-industrial complex - were evident in his policy work in the Pentagon working with Perle in the 1980s and then part of the Vulcans along with Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Vice President Richard Cheney in the Bush II administration; his work as a corporate lobbyist in the 1990s for Northrup Grumman along other military contractors; and his prominent role in the Center for Security Policy and in the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA). His political orientation is distinctly neo-conservative, as evident in his affiliations with such groups as the Middle East Forum, Center for Security Policy, and Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies (IASPS).

Yes, I saw all kinds of signs in D.C. - saying much the same thing.
I appreciate that you took photos of 9-11 Truth Activists. There were a lot of us at the rally and we had quite a large literature table at Jefferson Park with lots of banners, but there wasn't much coverage of our presence. I just wrote an article about our group- the Northern California 9-11 Truth Alliance and am reposting your photo with the article. I was carrying a mike, sound system, banner, signs, bags of Deception Dollars, but somehow managed to forget a camera!!! Thanks again for the article and photos!!!!
