Yo, yo!
It's the end of the summer (alright, alright, it's done BEEN the end of
summer), and that means it's time for one last guerilla screening in the
park, compliments of the ladeez at StreetLevel TV! We know you're looking
for something to do to get revved up for the next day's protest, so...
Join us as we screen this month's episode of SLTV, filmed in Chicago with
the help of the Octopussy Collective.

This month's segments cover everything from the history of the poor latino
neighborhoods Dodger Stadium is built on (produced by youth in LA) to the
popular locally-produced piece: "Wrong Bathroom", about the daily struggle
of transsexual and genderqueer folk, with interviews w/ Tribe8 members and
local activists. In addition, check out our community profile of the
month, on revolutionary hip-hop act Entartete Kunst.
In Association with the Video Activist Network and Indybay:
Be the Media!! If you have a segment to contribute to the line-up, email
Mizz Mia (miarov [at] yahoo.com) to get on the list for the evening.
Submissions will still be taken an hour before the screening, TIME
PERMITTING.
