Richard Heinberg will give a power-point presentation and speak about Peak Oil and How to Avoid Oil Wars, Terrorism and Economic Collapse.
Reichard Heinberg, an expert on Peak Oil, is the author of "The Party's Over: Energy Resources and the Fate of Industrial Societies" and "Powerdown: options and actions for a post-carbon world". He is a core faculty member at New College of California, where he teaches courses on "Energy and Society", and "Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community".
$10 donation requested. No one turned away for lack of funds.
