You guys just are so rediculous in your hyped-up, unknowing, outragous claims of the injustices by private security firms working in New Orleans. There hasn't been one incident where private security has used anything but presence to deter looters and other criminals from carrying on with lawless acts. We are here employed by companies to protect their assets, the same way private security firms have done for years here in the U.S. I know from personal experience that most of the employees are current law enforcement officers taking leaves or vacation time to come here and work to make extra money for their families. None of the private security firms are taking firearms from citizens. It's just a few radical media folks taking what a couple of guys said while bragging to a good looking woman what they thought might happen and never did. Have you ever been misquoted or had your words turned around? Furthermore, the city is unsafe with disease and other toxins in the water from flooding everything from biohazard material to gasoline when hospitols, gas stations, refineries, and all other hazardous material holding areas were flooded.
