Gwen Araujo trial is over but the fight is not.
The Gwen Araujo trial is over but our fight is NOT.
While attending the press conference yesterday for the results of the Gwen Araujo trial I noticed that some people are happy with the results and some are not.
As a transsexual I would have prefered harsher sentences and that Jason Cazares go to jail, BUT that did not happen, and situations don't always go our way, BUT all the bullshit in courts, over people who murder TS/TG people, can be stopped.
We can fight, but the local TG/TS community needs to start an open forum for discussion on a strategy.
Me? I prefer a hands on fight.
