Add an EventseptemberACTION.org : September mobilization Info and Logistics
From September 23-26, thousands of anti-war, global justice, and other activists will flock to Washington, DC for the largest mobilization since last year's Republican National Convention protests in New York. septemberACTION.org will serve as an information clearinghouse for that weekend, including actions going on all over the country, and potentially all over the globe.
The website will include a directory of local and national groups participating in the mobilization, a calendar of events, legal information, posters and materials, and housing and transportation resources. You will be able to post your events, your resources, and your groups' needs to this website.
We also will announce any clearinghouses/spokescouncils/consultas that happen.

After being put in their place by UFPJ (http://www.unitedforpeace.org) it looks like they're trying to weasel their way into taking charge/credit for the upcoming September actions. (UFPJ made a conscious decision recently to keep their events separate from ANSWER, based on ongoing bad experiences with those dogmatics.) Now somehow, on this new site, you see the UFPJ logo, as well as ANSWER's. Together again? Don't think so!
Don't fall for their transparent ploy...this is their modus operandi. UFPJ was in the process of choosing which weekend to hold their rally, 9/17 or 9/24, when ANSWER jumped in and announced their rally for 9/24. Lately I notice bay area flyers have been announcing the SF rally is their national event. What's up? ANSWER needs to get over themselves!
