I hope you have heard about Veterans For Peace National Impeachment Tour. If not, here is a link to their website:
http://www.vfproadtrips.org They are going to be on the road all this summer and fall. Speaking at schools, churches, in front of military bases, government buildings, military recruiting centers, and at war memorials. They will ask local press to give them access to address what they consider to be of the most important issue of our time. Weather The President should be Impeached for lying to congress, UN, and the American People about the potential for a WMD attack from Iraq. These lies took the United States and several other countries to war. Costing lives, treasure and honor by those who participated in the deception or passively supported it.

The first trip to the Veterans For Peace National Convention in Dallas Texas Aug 3-7 starts this weekend from San Francisco's Veterans Memorial Building on Van Ness Ave, at 12noon -2pm.

The Veterans For Peace and other organizations will be gathering to announce the Impeachment petition drive welcome the bus and send off bay area vfp member Dennis Kyne. Next stop Santa Cruz for a event that afternoon at the Peace and Justice Center 4pm - 7pm. Other stops on the trip are Santa Monica Pier, "Arlington West Memorial" Sunday 31st 8am - 12 noon. Albuquerque 2nd, location (TBA) then to the University of Dallas, Irving, Texas. August 3rd-7th.

During this trip veterans will be asked to contribute their thoughts about the call for impeachment. Members of every political party supporting this tour. There are Greens, Democrats, Republicans and even a Canadian US NAVY Veteran on the bus.
Our thoughts as well as those of veterans, active duty, family of active duty service members, and the general public will be recorded on video tape and added to the tours website.
