Save generic HIV/AIDS medicines from privatization

Join a peaceful picket of the offices of former Secretary of State George Shultz, a Board Member and major stockholder of Gilead Pharmceuticals. Ask Shultz to use his influence to have Gilead voluntarily transfer the technology of its AIDS drugs to the Brazilian government. Wednesday, August 10, 12 Noon to 1 at the Hoover Institution, the big tower on the Stanford Campus, Palo Alto. Letters from the Stanford and Univeristy of Chicago communities will be delivered to Shultz' office. Co-sponsored by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, Global Exchange,
