Green Party Opposes CAFTA Trade Pact

The Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) will gut California's environmental protections, warns the Green Party. CAFTA is expected to further problems introduced by NAFTA. San Francisco Green Party Spokesperson Susan King had this to say about CAFTA, which has already passed the Senate, "These so-called "free trade" agreements do not, in any way, benefit Californians.
