The California Coalition Against Poverty says
SHAME ON ELLEN E.S. RODIN, NOTORIOUS BAY AREA SLUMLORD

Ellen E.S. Rodin, a real state lawyer and property manager, has repeatedly broken the law. Some of the illegal actions she has taken against her tenants are:

* Illegal lock outs: She has left one of her tenants, Mr. Brad Halverson, effectively locked out of the room he leases by changing the door locks and refusing to give him a new set of keys!

* Unlawful security deposit retention: Ms. Ellen E. S. Rodin refuses to return her tenants their deposit money without even attempting to provide any explanation!

* Intimidation. She has used tactics such as physical violence threats against her tenants as a way to intimidate them.

Do you stand with slumlords or do you stand with regular folks? Today regular people are fighting back!

Meet at 3:30pm on Friday July, 15th at her office building on 1611 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, California 94612 to let her know how the community feels about slumlords who do not hesitate to exploit our families to make an extra buck!

Whatever it takes!
