August 6th is the 60th anniversary of the world’s first atomic bombing. In Japan and around the world, people will gather to float lanterns in remembrance of the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and all victims of war. This moving and beautiful tradition provides a chance to reaffirm our commitment to building a better future.

* Decorate lantern shades
* Hear Japanese flute and drum performances
* Messages from Mayors of Hiroshima & Nagasaki

Great event for all ages.
