Domestic workers and day laborers gathered at Giron's Housecleaning Services to demonstrate against the company's illegal acts and unjust treatment of its employees. The early June rally was in support of Dominga Lugo's suit for unpaid wages against her former employer.

It's about time someone from the Latino community stands up for their rights and help's other too. Domestic work is very hard backbreaking work; I know because my own mother worked in that industry. The wages for domestic work are too low and the working conditions are hazardous, not to mention the humiliation and being taken advantage of people of your own culture and race is shamefull.
