Review of Jake Weinstein’s “Body Burden” Show

Body Burden is a three actor, three act show about environmental health and breast cancer. It presents a strong message that every woman and every person who cares about women’s health should hear. Jake was able to combine comedy, science and drama into this story which presents the multiple conflicts of interest in the health care industry. It exposes the politics of breast cancer research, treatment and environmental health. It talks about difficult issues with a touch of humor and slapstick comedy and, as one viewer said, “It really makes you think” Clever and poignant, it is motivational and inspiring to those of us in environmental health advocacy.
