Medea Benjamin To Discuss  "Stop the Next War Now" on June 6

Medea Benjamin will discuss her new book, "Stop the Next War Now,"  on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 7 pm at the Coloma Community Center Auditorium , 4623 T Street, Sacramento.

Medea is the founding director of Global Exchange, co-founder of Code Pink, and for twenty years she has supported human rights and social justice struggles around the world. She has traveled many times to Iraq and helped establish the Occupation Watch International Center in Baghdad. Medea was the Green Party candidate for U. S. Senate from California in 2000.

She is the author of eight books, including the latest with Jodie Evans, released on May 1 this year, "Stop the Next War Now." Medea will read from and sign the book and share her insights as to the state of our world and what we may do about it.
