In answer to why do these Reclaim the Streets in rich neighborhoods, is becuase those are the streets that poor people need to reclaim. You don't want to block traffic and destroy property (enhance non-corporate values!) in poor people's neighborhoods. You wnat to party where the rich and the chi-chi party. And break their windows, like what happened at the American Express office in Palo Alto. You wnat the poor to invade ther rich areas and take them over.
