Councilmember Charlotte Laws (Greater Valley Glen Council) will explain her "no kill"animal shelter proposal for Los Angeles, which closely parallels the "no kill" proposal she has recently completed for the city of Oakland.
She will be presenting the Oakland proposal to the Stakeholder Committee sometime in June 2005.
Charlotte Laws is also the President of the League for Earth and Animal Protection (LEAP). The LEAP website is http://www.LEAPnonprofit.org

She is willing to assist any city or county in California with ideas on how to end the killing of dogs and cats at public shelterfs.
