Ratz becomes B-16

by news4queers
Turning their backs on the 21st century, RC cardinals choose a right-wing German to serve as Pope.
Thus they thumb their noses at Latin American and Third World Catholics;
plus Catholic women, queers, and liberals.
By choosing to crown himself as Benedict 16, Ratzinger directs the world's attention back to the times of Benedict the First
( elected in AD 575 ) thru B-15 ( elected in 1914).
Is he hinting that Roman theology should return to where it stood in 1914?

Ratz just turned 78, becoming the oldest pope elected since 1730.
He's the first Gernmanic pope in almost one thousand years.

This B-pope-16's reign may resemble a B-movie, compared to the charisma of JP2.
In terms of policy, B-16 will be at least as reactionary as JP2, if not more so.

PS 1:
No, none of the earlier B-popes was Saint Benedict of Nursia,
founder of the Benedictine order
( who died around AD 543, roughly three decades before B-1 was elected ).
Did Pope B-1 name himself after Saint Benedict?
....

PS 2:

Had enough irascible grumping?

I am not able to understand the reason for such a mess.

Those gays who protest think they are right. The Church says they are wrong.

What I cannot understand is that they still stay within the Church, which is not compulsory.
