50 years of community!
After almost fifty years as the oldest, Native Urban Community Center in the nation, the Intertribal Friendship House is in danger of closing its' doors due to unpaid property taxes and PG&E bills. Please join us at this benefit to support this Bay Area Indian landmark continue its legacy as
the heart of the Bay Area Indian Community for the next 7 generations.

BLACKFIRE is a Native American (Diné) traditionally influenced, high-energy, politically driven group comprised of two brothers and their sister. Born into the heart of a political land dispute area on Black Mesa
in the Navajo Nation, this Family's powerful music reflects the Hopes, Freedoms, and Barriers of today's world. http://www.blackfire.net
AZTLAN UNDERGROUND hail from the streets of Los Angeles. Since the early 90's, AUG have been rockin the microphone with its unique urban sound of
funk and fury. Blending the power of Rock with the soul of Hip Hop, and the roots of indigenous traditional music, sets Aztlan Underground apart
from the rest. Aztlan's uniqueness lies in it use of Indigenous
instruments in its repertoire. Indigenous drums, flutes, and rattles are commonplace in AUG's musical compositions.
This unique sound is the backdrop to the bands' message of dignity for Indigenous people, all of humanity, and Mother Earth. Aztlan Underground
have been cultivating a grass roots audience across the country. This has translated to a large and loyal underground following. Their shows areintense and captivating.
