Don't miss the Read-In to save the public libraries at the State Capitol on Tuesday, April 12, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.

Hi all,

We sent info on the Read-In last weekend to save the public libraries in Salinas, California which are all scheduled to be closed due to budget shortfalls.

Now the battle is coming to the state capitol!

On Tuesday, April 12th, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, there will be an Emergency Read-In at the capitol. Busloads of people from Salinas will be coming to bring the message "Save Our Libraries!" (maybe it should be "Don't Terminate Our Libraries!") to the governor and the legislature. They need our support!
