On Thursday, April 14, AFSCME Local 3299, is planning a one-day strike. AFSCME represents service employees vital to the functioning of UC Berkeley. It represents many of the lowest paid workers on campus. The union is currently struggling for a fair contract and workers' (especially immigrant workers') rights.

Join us on TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 7PM AT 102 WURSTER (UC BERKELEY) for a SCREENING OF THE MOVIE PRECARITY TO BENEFIT THE AFSCME STRIKE. PRECARITY is a collection of films documenting the struggle of precarious workers around the world. The screening will be followed by a discussion on how students can stand in solidarity with campus workers.
