Here are some photos from today's Cesar Chavez Parade in San Francisco. The parade was led by local politicians and activists, and it included contingents representing unions and other local organizations. The parade seemed smaller than in past years and more commercial. The largest float was an advertisement for Safeway and there were many local radio stations handing out promotional stickers.

I'm sorry but there is no "causa" if the UFW once enforced wet line policies in which undocumented gentes were seen as nothing more than "scabs" and as a result, often had the INS called on them in order to preserve their precious jobs. I realize that is not the case, now, but this shouldn't have EVER been the case. PERIOD.
