California Prison Focus' Dignity Campaign for Women Prisoners benefits from an evening of music, poetry and food. The campaign hopes to end cross-gender pat searches used to punish and intimidate inmates, particularly lesbians, transgendered people, and women who do not conform to conventional standards of beauty.
