UC Berkeley Student Senate Bars Military Recruiters!
On March 30, 2005 the UC Berkeley ASUC Senate unanimously passed a resolution denying military recruiters use of facilities and assets because of their discriminatory policies.

In what may become a historic step in the anti-war effort, as well as the LGBT movement, the Associated Students of the University of California at UC Berkeley have unanimously passed a resolution denying military recruiters use of facilities and assets because of the military's discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
Student bill 20107, states that "the presence of military recruiters on campus violates the University of California’s own nondiscriminatory policy" and "calls on Chancellor Birgeneau, the UC-Berkeley administration, and the UC Regents to take measures to bar military recruiters from UC-Berkeley and throughout the UC system."
The resolution goes on to state that the ASUC shall deny the use of ASUC facilities and assets to military recruiters and calls on the U.S. military to immediately revoke its discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
Much of the success of this resolution can be attributed to the November 2004 FAIR v. Rumsfeld ruling by the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. The ruling states that universities may bar military recruiters from their campuses without risking the loss of federal money, which had been a major deterrent in anti-recruitment efforts.
In addition, the student senate passed a resolution calling for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

I know all college political science and "humanities" majors are told to read "The Prince" by Machiavelli...and taught that the "end justifies the means," so it shouldn't come as any surprise that the ultra left-wing student government at Berkeley is disparaging the U.S. military in a back assward attempt to protest the war in Iraq.
The "don't ask, don't tell" policy implemented by the Clinton administration in 1993 didn't seem to warrant the outcry back then that it's suddenly receiving, but I guess that's the best these pseudo-intellectual busy-bodies could come up with to make their belabored point that "we will censor all that with which we disagree."

Today some Bulgarians were killed in Iraq with a filming of the shooting. Two groups claimed responsibility according to the mass media. I do not believe them. I believe the murderers were from a regime in the USA or Israel who wants to instigate a feeling of necessary revenge against Iraq's bloodline.
The Associated Press called the Iraqis, if that is what they were, insurgents. Bullshit. They are residents if they are Iraqis and insurgents if they are Americans or Israelis.
Our parents were conned by the mass media and so were we. Take that gorilla logic from your child's view, if you have any. If you hate the United States of America's regime in power, join the Burning Bush Club.
Someone sent me the picture of the child posted here on the day of Bush's inauguration. We must ask, how many fingers are in the pie at our detriment.
I see a caste system. I want freedom from the planet or extinction for our kind, as the options are horrendous and horrible and death is cleaner.
