Vigil at DiFi's House for Immigrants' Driver's Licenses

WAKE UP CALL TO SENATOR DIANE FEINSTEIN!!


JOIN IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES TO TELL SENATOR DIANE FEINSTEIN THAT WE WON'T
TOLERATE HER DENYING DRIVER'S LICENSES TO OUR COMMUNITIES!! JOIN US FOR A
VIGIL IN FRONT OF FEINSTEIN'S HOUSE!

Senator Diane Feinstein came out in favor of the Real Id Act, which among
other things, will deny undocumented immigrants driver's licenses at a
national level. If this law passes (it has already passed the US House of
Representatives and will be considered by the US Senate in the next few
weeks), it will destroy our efforts to obtain driver's licenses for
immigrants here in California. STOP THE ANTI-IMMIGRANT HISTERIA!
UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS ARE HUMAN BEINGS AND DESERVE THE RIGHT TO DRIVE AND
TO HAVE AN IDENTIFICATION!

WHEN: Monday, March 21, Gather at 4:00 pm at Centro del Pueblo.
WHERE: Gather at Centro del Pueblo, 474 Valencia St. (cross street 16th
St.), San Francisco. We will have vehicles available to transport people to
Feinstein's house.
Vigil begins at 5 pm at 30 Presidio Terrace (near Arguello), San
Francisco.

The vigil will include speakers, music, candles, and a public display of
driver's licenses on Feinstein's front lawn.

PLEASE BRING YOUR CAR TO ASSIST IN TRANSPORTATION!
PLEASE BRING YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TO PLACE ON FEINSTEIN'S FRONT LAWN!
PLEASE JOIN THE STRUGGLE FOR IMMIGRANT RIGHTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS! DON'T ALLOW
HOMELAND SECURITY TO BE A PRETEXT FOR VIOLATIONS OF PEOPLE'S CIVIL AND HUMAN
RIGHTS!
