The San Francisco Print Collective's LIVING WALL Project: Dedicated to the First Amendment Invites everyone to the 2nd participatory mural: SOBRE LA CULTURA Y RESISTENCIA MAPUCHE (GENTE DE LA TIERRA) About the Mapuche Culture and their Resistance (Indigenous people of Chile and Argentina) By visiting artist: Pancho Pescador in collaboration with Pachamama Conservation www.PachamamaConservation.org Este mural colectivo tendrá como objetivo difundir, educar e informar al público sobre el pueblo Mapuche. Se enfocará específicamente en la lucha indígena por lograr autonomía y respeto a nivel nacional y global. Esta jornada de resistencia cultural tratará de juntar a la comunidad Chilena, Latina y Estadounidense para crear conciencia sobre las luchas de las culturas indigenas del cono sur. The objective of this collective mural is to educate, inform and expand the knowledge about the Mapuche people (people of the land). It will specifically focus on the indigenous struggle for autonomy and respect at the national and international level. This session of cultural resistance will try to congregate the Chilean, Latino and North American community in order to create awareness about the struggles of the indigenous cultures of South America.
