Glamorous Art Auction at the Clift
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Visual Aid & Academy of Friends present our fourth annual Art Auction at the Clift Hotel, 495 Geary St., San Francisco on Thursday, March 24th from 6-9pm.
Admission is $25. The event begins with a preview party featuring a DJ, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres sponsored by the Clift, followed by a riveting, live art auction of 40+ works of art, donated by well-known local artists, and other fabulous items. The charming and hilarious Stephen Tourell of Toomey Tourell Fine Art is our auctioneer. Fabulous non-art items will be included in the auction, including a pair of First Class, Round Trip tickets to Europe, courtesy of Iceland Air.
Proceeds from the event will support Visual Aid's programs for artists with life-threatening illnesses and Academy of Friends, helping HIV/AIDS service organizations.

Visual Aid helps produce, present, and preserve the work of professional artists whose careers are challenged because of a life-threatening illness. We serve professional artists from the nine-county Bay Area, providing artists with direct services from art supplies to exhibitions and career development.
Both first-time buyers and seasoned collectors are warmly welcomed to participate in the auction, which features works by prominent Bay Area artists, including:
