* About the KPFA/Ibdaa Freedom Radio Project *
In February, producers from KPFA's Flashpoints and Voices of the Middle East will lead a radio production workshop for youth and young adults at the Ibdaa Cultural Center, located inside the Dheisheh Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank.
This is an important collaboration between KPFA and Ibdaa; a project that will empower a new generation of Palestinian youth through radio broadcasting. This groundbreaking project will take a cross-cultural, conscious approach, allowing the Palestinian youth to express their own creative story and experience without the restraints of western categorization and standards.
