Do Not Overturn the Grand Jury Decision To Bring State Agent to Trial!
WHEN: January 28, 2005 Press Conference 8:00am // Hearing begins at 9:00am
WHAT: The family, friends and supporters of Rudy Cardenas will be holding a press conference in front of the West Hedding Courthouse before the hearing to dismiss the case of Michael Walker, the state drug agent who killed Rudy Cardenas. In July 2004 an open Grand Jury indicted Michael Walker on voluntary manslaughter for shooting and killing Rudy Cardenas. This Friday, January 28, 2005, at 9am Michael Walker’s attorney will present arguments to a judge to dismiss the case against their client.
Cardenas family members and supporters will be speaking on the significance of carrying the Walker case to trial, especially given the police shootings in recent weeks. The family will also be giving updates on family activities since the grand jury decision. In a show of solidarity, Cardenas supporters will be wearing all black, and will be packing the courtroom to show the court the public’s commitment to justice.

I will soon have a video up showing the abuse I have suffered by the Mobile Alabama police. I do not have film of the forced injections by the federal government in Los Angeles or the abuses suffered in Arizona.
