This is an ice cream parlor that also caters to vegans -- enjoy ice cream, sundaes, smoothies and ice cream cakes, vegan-style!

This is a new time! Show your support for having it on a Saturday by encouraging your friends to attend! Carpool from southbay available..

We will be writing letters to the editor, letters to state, county, and federal legislators and officials encouraging compassion to animals, etc. We will be a voice for the voiceless with our personal, handwritten, high-impact letters.

MaggieMudd is an ice cream restaurant in Bernal Heights. They have an excellent selection of frozen vegan treats. (Click http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=126 to read customer reviews.) We will be in the back at one or two of the tables eating vegan ice cream and doing the write thing.

New activists are encouraged to attend!

It's helpful if you can also bring:
-pen and paper
-envelopes
-name of your State Assemblyperson and Senator (click http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/yourleg.html to find out)
-name of your federal legislators too (click http://thomas.loc.gov/)
-veg or animal rights topics to write on, or use the ones we provide.

Please RSVP and we'll save you a seat. Hope to see you there!
