ALICE'S RESTAURANT
This slice of aimless hippie life is both funny and haunting. It’s funny to see Arlo Guthrie go to court for littering -- dumping trash on a heap of garbage -- and it’s haunting to see him visit his dying father, Woody Guthrie, and bury a friend who overdosed on heroin. This nostalgic film showcases Arlo’s song, “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree.” 1969
Films are FREE but donations are accepted.
