It’s a democracy (ho ho ho) and were all invited! WHAT we WE EXPECT for christmas eve, short of the second coming? ALL PEOPLE, Organizations, and Groups, ARE INVITED to attend and celebrate a year of resistance, struggles, and victories in an unorganized atmosphere of community, in any manner you see fit. Informal, unstructured, undominated, open, social event -NO PERMIT, just so you know !!! We expect POLICE in big shiny red or black boots. Not a lot, but we don’t have any permits, since we’re all just friends and neighbors. We even expect some friendly police, since they’re probably making holiday overtime-happy holidays!-bring your kids!—and please feel welcome to speak out about any concerns. They have promised to uphold our 1ST AMMENDMENT RIGHTS, for christmas—thanks. We expect the (up to code) OPEN MIC and PERFORMANCES to figure themselves out—expect some kind of informal sign in sheet, or call/email us to sign up beforehand. MUSIC, POETRY, COMMENTARY. DAVE LIPPMAN will NO LONGER be performing--he got sick. very sorry. l Roxy and other friends. EVERYONE WELCOME!!! PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS STORIES AND STRUGGLES—there’s a lot to be mad about and a lot to be thankful for, and an endless supply of imagination. We Expect FOOD and a lot of HUNGRY PEOPLE. Any DONATIONS in addition to what we already anticipate will no doubt be APPRECIATED, corresponding to various levels of need.
