The issues and challenges the young face today are significant and complex, and there does not seem to be easy formulas to achieve success, peace, or happiness. Yet, understanding the situation is vital for all who live and interact in the diverse Bay Area. SF University High School presents an original work exclusively by a creative team of young theater artists that examines the heart, mind, body, and soul of the urban landscape.
A diverse group of young people find themselves brought together by a shooting after a recent concert. While they are strangers to one another, they must find ways to put aside their initial reactions and understand each other's backgrounds, talents, and opinions. Along the way, a chorus of reason pulls the audience through the character's dilemmas. Poetry, dance, and music fuse this together to form a play that speaks to the challenges, hopes, and dreams of youth.
