Was the cop able to quote exact words and say exactly where in the Bible the piece of scripture came from? If not, he had no standing to quote anything. Neither Pat Robertson nor Jerry Falwell wrote the Bible and, as far as I can tell, have never read it, at least not the new Testament! If quoters can't give you chapter and verse, they're probably telling something made up by the idiots who stand behind pulpits.
