Eminem joins the black bloc in anti-Bush video!

by djoma
Eminem's new video to his song 'Mosh' sees him join the black bloc and storm some grand building. Once inside, however, the bloc forms an orderly queue to register to vote!
Powerful stuff tho and will resonate with a big chunk of the US population.

The video, made by people from the Guerilla News Network, definitely plays on the imagery of the black bloc as we see a few hundered hooded youths square up to riot cops.

In what has to be a first-ever, Eminem actually utters the words "Fuck Bush".

Interesting to see if MTV have the balls to put this on.

I saw the video and once again the graphics by GNN artist Ian Inaba were top-notch. However, the video was a significant letdown because all this revolutionary fervor depicted in the flash animation fizzled when all these alienated youths went to the voting booth for their ultimate revolutionary act. Huh?? Since when is voting a revolutionary act?

Haven't Eminem and the producers of this short realized that our votes are not significant, especially when the corporations and bankers select the presidential candidates. And let's not forget the enormous vote fraud that happened in 2000, 2002 and most likely will happen this year.

If Eminem wants to really shake things up he should do a video on tax resistance and ask GI's to refuse to fight. That will shake things up.

Progressive artists should not be legitimizing a horribly corrupt system that is our government.

by progressive?
since when is eminem a progressive artist?

Eminem may or not be a "progressive". I don't really give a shit. He's got the ear of millions of young people. I'd like to see his message go in a more radical direction: to the youth, Resist the War.

Have you listened to any of music besides the 1 anti-Bush song. Just because he puts out 1 song that’s anti-bush doesn’t make him part of the black block or progressive it just makes him anti-Bush.

I know the world is full of contradictions, but it should be remembered thet eminem is anti-gay. A couple of years ago he recorded some pretty mean stuff, and he has never apologized for it.

His producers are the biggest and richest in the industry, therefore i would never expend them to allow their darling little money maker to go beyond voting. In fact, having a black bloc going in and voting (becoming part of the system) is an insult to everything the black bloc stands for.

Eminem sucks and his video is hilarious in the most unintentional way:

Eminem is a fucking joke

Uhh, Eminem? Black blocs don't vote. Have fun jumping the shark and raking in the cash.

Sorry Dean- But Em ain't anti-gay. That's why Elton John played with him. In his movie, 8 mile, he stands up for a gay black factory who is being verbally and homophobically harassed. Maybe thats not enough for you but he has said in many interviews that he isn't anti-gay. Whatever. Believe what you want. I just think he has been massively misinterpreted by the PC left.

Yeah the voting thing is weak but Em is just as likely to call for real resistance and radicals shouldn't just write him off but encourage HIS ANTI-WAR message. Chuck O thinks its just about the money. Eminem is already rich-- he doesn't need it.

by what the hell
They're mass-producing gay blacks now? Who knew?

Eminem rocks and this video is fucking cool. Stop the hate, people! Did you know all those hooded voters are voting for Leonard Peltier? In the post-election edit they will burn down the White House after cheney cheats his way back in. He will hang like chad.

GNN's video for "White America" from a few years ago kicks ass too.

Eminem is gay?

Eminem, His producers are the biggest and richest in the industry, they are probably looking to the gay movement as another market to open
