War Victim Memorial Procession and Vigil in Visalia. The South Valley Peace Center will lead a procession down the Main Street sidewalk to remember the men, women, and children killed and wounded in Iraq. The procession will start at 7 p.m. at the northeast corner of Main and West Streets and end with a vigil at Main and Garden Streets (about a 1/3-mile walk). At the vigil, people are encouraged to make statements, read poetry, etc. Participants are encouraged to wear black and carry a flashlight shielded with a paper cone to simulate a candle.
