Douglas Mattern is the President of the Association of World Citizens, an international peace organization with branches in 35 countries. He is a long-time peace activist, writer, and commentator on international affairs and nuclear proliferation.

The event will be an exchange of views on confronting the dark cloud hanging over civilization and exploring how to overcome the dominant culture of violence and militarism to achieve a historic transformation to a new civilization and a better world for the 21st century.

Music by special guests Annie and the Vets.

Free and open to the public; co-sponsored by Women's International League for Peace and Freedom - Peninsula Branch and Peninsula Peace and Justice Center.
