Bush Guard Record and Drug Allegations Have Resurfaced
A short article about Bush's Guard Record, and
recent drug allegations.
recent drug allegations.
President Bush’s national guard record has again resurfaced prior to the election. Bush apparently was able to have his father arrange some preferential treatment,
so he could go awol in regard to his guard duties.
CBS news found a series of documents that apparently show that Bush was able to get out of his national guard service. Col Killian has indicated that W. tried
to get out of performing his duties, because he was working on a campaign in Alabama.
A group calling itself Texans for Truth has found that Bush circumvented his Guard Duties in Alabama. According to Bob Mintz Lieutenant Colonel in the
Alabama National Guard: "It would have been impossible to be unseen in a unit of that size.”
Glenn Smith Executive Director for Texans for Truth has said that: "Yesterday, America lost its thousandth soldier in Iraq…. We have a commander in chief who dodged his own military duty during Vietnam. We think the husbands, wives, mothers and fathers of these soldiers deserve to know the truth about George W. Bush.”
Bush’s cocaine use, and DUI convictions became known during the 2000 campaigan, and are not new charges. Kitty Kelley in her new biography The Family: The Real Story of
the Bush Dynasty, has noted that: "Bush did coke at Camp David when his father was President, and not just once either."
Bush also used to use cocaine during his National Guard service when he was 26. According to Kelley Bush "liked to sneak out back for a joint or into the bathroom for a line of cocaine".
The story got even worse as Laura Bush allegedly was a ``go-to girl'' for marijuana during college. Kelley has also alleged that Laura Bush was involved not only in using marijuana, but was also a marijuana dealer.
