Public invited to participate in a fascinating 3 day conference with scholars of a wide range of disciplines--anthropology, comparative religions, ethno-medicine, folklore, Western medicine, philosophy, sociology--and practitioners of various modes of alternative healing.

The Annual International Conference on the Study of Shamanism and Alternative Modes of Healing was founded in 1984 to restore the integrity of shamanism and share the latest insights in the field of alternative healing.

To make the results available to the general public, the approximately forty presentations and the transcripts of all discussions will be published in the conference proceedings.

The Annual International Conference on the Study of Shamanism and Alternative Modes of Healing is held each year on Labor Day
