Want to Bicycle to Livermore Lab Protest?

by Dress (weddress [at] juno.com)
Its time again to think about the annual ride from Oakland/Berkeley to Livermore for Hiroshima
Day.
Its time again to think about the annual ride to Livermore for Hiroshima
Day.
The folks at Tri-Valley Cares and other assorted Livermore organizers
have chosen to create their big event on Sunday, August 8th. They would
love
to have us show up out there. However, I have already committed to
a family camping trip that weekend, so I won't be able to come. Which
is
fine, so long as enough of you are interested in making it happen.

So please respond as to your interest as soon as possible.

If 8 or more would prefer, I'd be up for going on Friday the 6th,
the actual anniversary, even though it'll be a push to do that
and get ready to leave town the next day.

ride on,

Dress, I am down to pick up the ride on Sunday.

I have done the ride with Dress and others for the last couple of years and have been recruiting various friends. I am hoping to get a sound system of some sorts together for the ride over, and will begin working on outreach and recruitment today. Ride on the labs... Bikes Not Bombs!!! Si Se Puede!!!!
This seems to be the info from last year from what I can figure and needs to be retooled for this years ride to the school first. I will post the updated info for this years ride later today.

You forgot to mention between 1:00 and 2:00 PM getting your pant cuff caught in the fucking bike sproket and nearly having your leg yanked off. Somebody get the Jaws of Life..
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
