opportunities to:

* learn from world leaders about the intersection of engineering,
enterprise, and sustainable development.
* network with other socially and environmentally aware engineers,
scientists, entrepreneurs, and non-profit professionals
* build inspiration and motivation to facilitate activism in their
home organizations and communities.

Sessions themes include: water and health, information and communication
technology for development, the built environment, energy in a resource
scarce world, business at the base of the pyramid, and engineering
and business education.

A few highlighted keynotes include:
- William McDonough, "Hero for the planet", Time Magazine 1999
- Patricia Galloway, President of the American Society of Civil Engineers
